Hello ladies!

I need your help!! Please type up a quick email and forward this note to your friends!  We want more bodies in the Learn to Run 5km for complete beginners and 10km (from a 5km base) programs.  These 8 week programs are FREE!!  We run 3 times a week, but it isn’t necessary to do all sessions with the group – just do them on your own.  The programs will prep you for an early November race/fun run.  Our ladies only group is very social and not hard core:)  It’s a great place to begin running or get back into it.  Here are the programs we will be using – they are nice and gradual and anyone can do them.  5km run training program 2  and  10 Km program from 5km base.   (Please note that on the program, I haven’t changed the Tuesday run to Monday yet!)  Runs begin at 8pm on Monday and Thursday evenings and at 8am on Saturday mornings.  We leave from the corner of Redwing and Blackbird Courts.  If you are new to the group, pop over a few minutes early to fill out a couple of forms.  Feel free to email me if you have any questions – mclaughlins@cogeco.ca.  The more the merrier!!

Donations: Lastly, please consider donating your used running/technical tops to the OTMH Palliative Care Unit  I am collecting them at each running session until October 1st.  There will be a box on my front step.  All sizes and shapes wanted.
